William “Bill” Theriot, Jr. was born in Los Angeles, California on January 20, 1930 to the late William Gilbert Theriot, Sr. & Margaret Johanna (Alberchtsen) Theriot. He passed from this life at his residence in Drumright on July 24, 2016 at the age of 86 years, 6 months, & 4 days. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
Bill Theriot was raised & educated in Los Angeles & Montebello, CA. He Joined the United States Marine Corp in 1948 & served his country during the Korean War until 1952. He married Joan Marie Holt in Midway City, CA on August 31, 1962 & they raised 4 children. Bill had retired in 1987 as a Stevedor Superintendent with Matson Terminals. He moved to Drumright 10 years ago from Placerville, CA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Matthew D. Theriot in 1997.
His remaining family includes his wife: Joan M. Theriot of Drumright; CHILDREN: Danielle E. Theriot of California – William G. Theriot, III of Florida – Michael R. Theriot of California; 11 grandchildren – 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Ellen Christner-Day of California; & numerous other relatives.
