Wake services for Nannie M. Scott were held at Michael’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Bristow, OK at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 16, 2015. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at True Vine Indian Baptist Church in Bristow, OK with Brother Don Tiger officiating. Immediately following services, interment was held at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville, OK. Funeral arrangements and services were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Bristow. Nannie Scott was born in Oklahoma City, OK on February 11, 1943 to the late Columbia Lindsey & Amy (Joseph) Lindsey. She passed from this life in Bristow, OK on September 11, 2015 at the age of 72 years & 7 months. Nannie was raised & educated in Wetumka, OK. She has resided in this area for the past 32 years. Nannie enjoyed life as a homemaker and in raising two sons. She lost her husband Billy J. Scott in December of 2004. Nannie Scott was a unique lady and made many lifelong friends with those whom were fortunate enough to get to know her. In addition to her husband and her parents she was preceded in death by a GRANDSON: Jeremy Scott; 2 BROTHERS: Lewis Lindsey and Thomas Linsey; and 2 SISTERS: Mary Lindsey and Ruby (Lindsey) Stewart.

Her remaining family includes her 2 SONS: Jamie Scott of Bristow & Timothy Scott of Florida; 6 GRANDCHILDREN: Mason Tyler Scott, Elijah Nolan Scott, Micha Scott, Tayton Scott, Tierra Scott and Takoda Scott; She also leaves behind numerous other relatives & loving friends. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to help out with funeral expenses.
