Obituary for Gloria Ann Robinson (LeBlanc)

A memorial service for Oilton resident, Gloria Robinson, will be celebrated by Father Stephen Miller at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 14th in the St. Mark Episcopal Church in Perry, Oklahoma. Following the service, Mrs. Robinson’s cremains will be interred in Union Cemetery at Glencoe, Oklahoma. Gloria was born at Providence, Rhode Island on May 11, 1951 to the late Anthony John LeBlanc & Doris Mary (Darling) LeBlanc. She passed from this life at her residence on January 3, 2023 at the age of 71 years, 7 months, & 23 days. Gloria was raised and educated in Pascoag, Rhode Island and was a graduate of Burrillville High School. She married Robert Errol Robinson on March 22, 1971 and they moved to Oklahoma and made their home in Lela. They raised 2 children: Toni & Bobby. Gloria had worked in the Jewelry Department at J.C. Penny for several years. She was also said to be their best customer. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bowling, & playing darts. But what brought her the most joy was spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Anthony LeBlanc; her mother: Doris Jaswell; & her husband: Robert Robinson in 2012.

She leaves behind 2 Children: Toni Stokes & husband Paul of Oilton – Bobby Robinson of Pawnee; Grandchildren: Shelby – Ashley – Nick – Pake – Samantha – Hunter -
Riley – & Bobby III; Great Grandchild: Sawyer; 2 Brothers: John LeBlanc - & Alan LeBlanc, both of Rhode Island; Sister-In-Law: Sharon Mitchell of Lela; Brother-In-Law: Kelly Robinson of Arkansas; & several other relatives & friends.
