Obituary for Sharron Lee Loeffler (Drullinger)

Sharron Lee Loeffler was born the daughter of Richard A. & Cora B. Drullinger on her great grandfather’s peach farm in south Tulsa County, Oklahoma on June 25, 1938. She departed this life on July 7, 2022 after an unexpected brief illness.
Sharron was raised & educated in Tulsa & was a 1956 graduate of Will Rogers High School. A person of many talents in her younger years, including being an accomplished marksman, pianist and equestrian, she had a long and varied career; working for Dowell, North American Rockwell, Creek County Court Clerk’s Office, and Election Board. For much of the 1970’s, she was a Court Reporter for Judge Charles S. Woodson. Later she worked as a legal assistant for Loeffler, Allen, & Ham with her husband and her son and a number of other Creek County lawyers that she cherished, such as Mike Jones. She also owned several businesses, most notably The Tulsa Blossom Shoppe for many years. She had beautiful auburn hair when she was younger, with the wit, tenacity, and temperament to match. She was trusting and generous to a fault, but you only dared to get crossways with her once. She firmly believed everyone should work hard every day regardless of their station in life, and at the age of 84 she was still working as a part time legal assistant for her friend, Dana Barnett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepson: Rusty Loeffler; very dear brother-in-law: Robert M. Loeffler; & her beloved husband: David H. Loeffler, Sr.
A devoted wife, sister, mother, & grandmother, she is survived by children: Pauli Loeffler of Edmond – Mike Loeffler & wife Stacy of Bristow; Grandchildren: Alex Gambill & wife Genevieve of Oregon – Robert Gambill & wife Shan Shan of Tulsa – Hunter Gambill & wife Anna of Tulsa – Greg Loeffler of United Kingdom – Trevor Walker of Oklahoma City – Dr. Holly Loeffler of Washington, D.C. – Audrey Walker of United Kingdom – Zach Walker of Oregon; her great grandchildren: Luke Gambill – Gillian Gambill – River Gambill - & Alex Gambill; sisters: Carolyn McKinley of Owasso – Cindy Whitaker of Tulsa; & numerous other relatives & friends.
Sharron will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Memorial Park cemetery at Tulsa on July 14th at 10:00 a.m. A casual come and go celebration of life gathering will be held at the Bristow Country Club on August 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in Oklahoma City (omrf.org).
