Obituary for Rosie B. Ennis

Rosie B. Ennis was born August 10, 1941 in Silver City, Oklahoma. Daughter of Lucey May Tillman Casey. She called Hershel Casey dad from the age of 6, and was raised and educated in Oilton, Oklahoma with her 4 siblings, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She left this world February 7, 2022 at the age of 80 years, 5 months & 28 days. She left school in the 10th grade at 16 to get married. Rosie had many jobs throughout her life, and she was an excellent saleswoman. She loved fishing, playing cards, spending time with her family, her little dogs and could throw a mean dart back in the day. Christmas was her number one priority and she planned the entire 365 days leading up to it each year. During her life she called many places home, including Mannford & Shamrock Oklahoma, Augusta Georgia, Eastover South Carolina, Franklin Tennessee, and most recently back to Drumright Oklahoma. Rosie loved to travel, and earned many exciting trips through her years of sales and management with Tiara Exclusives. She was a member of the Eastover, SC First Baptist Church. As time and disease stole her identity she was still feisty with a fierce ornery streak. She was preceded in death by her parents, Son: Timothy Carpenter, Sisters: Wanda Reece & Francis Beardsley, Brothers: King Casey & Elmer Casey, her second parents Aunt & Uncle: Omer & Bessie Schonfield, and lifelong friend and sister in law: Ethel Cain. She is survived by her Daughters: Kimberly Carpenter of Chickasha, Angela Bengtson and husband Roland of Mannford, bonus sons: Scott Turner and wife Kellie, Robb Turner and wife Marsha of Drumright, Brother: Jesse Casey and wife Bonnie of Stillwater, Brother in law Jim Christmas of Eastover, SC, Sister in law: Darlene Casey of Cushing, many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends along with her caregivers of the Drumright Nursing Home. In leu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to The Drumright Historical Society in Rosie's name.
