Obituary for Helen Pearline Tanner

Helen Pearline Tanner was born in Clovis, New Mexico on May 7, 1940 to the late Emmitt Woodrow Hudson & Flora Ann (Turner) Hudson. She passed from this life peacefully in Sand Springs, Oklahoma on April 6, 2021 at the age of 80 years, 10 months, & 30 days. Helen was a long time resident of Bristow before moving to Drumright, where she lived for several years. She had worked in Bristow as a cashier for Super H Grocery. She then worked for Napa Auto Parts, CB Auto, & retired from Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts. For the past few years, she has lived in Sand Springs to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by her MOTHER: Flora Ann Monk; her FATHER & STEPMOTHER: Emmitt & Phyllis Hudson; BROTHER: Emmitt Hudson; SISTERS: Sherry Mountain – Johnnie Williamson - & twin Pauline Wolfe; DAUGHTER: Phyllis White; SON: David Roberts; & GREAT GRANDSON: Thaddeus Joseph Carter Funk.

Her remaining family includes her CHILDREN: Bea Newell of Tulsa – Bob Agnew & spouse Jannetta Clark of Bristow – Allan Roberts & wife Krissy of Lebanon, Missouri – Dana Sheldon of Sand Springs; 22 GRANDCHILDREN – 41 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN (including twin great grandsons who were born on her & her twin’s 80th birthday); 2 BROTHERS: Myron Allen & wife Janis of North Dakota – Bob Allen & wife Roni of California; PLUS numerous Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & many friends.
