Verla Acker, resident of Drumright, passed from this life suddenly in Tulsa on March 19, 2021 at the age of 72 years, 2 months, & 5 days. A celebration of life service will be scheduled for a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright. Verla J. Acker was born in Akron, Ohio on January 14, 1949 to the late David Telfer & LaDema (Goodrich) Telfer. She was raised & educated in Buena Park, California & had spent most of her life in California. She retired from Hughes Aircraft as a micro circuit assembler & moved to Drumright 4 years ago. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a BROTHER: Ernie Telfer.
Her remaining family includes a SON: Eddie Acker of California; DAUGHTER: Janet Hulsey of Drumright; GRANDCHILDREN: Sammie – Nicole – Kacie – Chris - & Ryan; GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Lennon - Rya – Cadence – Atticus - & Ryle; plus NUMEROUS other relatives & friends.
