Graveside funeral rites will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 in the Drumright Oak Hill Cemetery for Jerry Leon Hallman. Rev. Monty McGee of the Drumright First Baptist Church will officiate. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
Jerry Leon Hallman was born in Terlton, Oklahoma on February 19, 1936 to the late Wallace Hallman & Hazel Lela (Thigpen) Hallman. He passed from this life suddenly at his residence on June 13, 2020 at the age of 84 years, 3 months, & 25 days. Jerry was raised & educated in Terlton & Olive. His family moved to Hobbs, New Mexico where he spent his last 2 years of high school. Jerry was a welder by trade and was a member of Union #798. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 SISTER: Mary Robertson; & 3 BROTHERS: Robert – Rex - & Boyd Hallman.
His remaining family includes: Beverly of the home; 2 CHILDREN: Kelly Kay Hallman & husband Kirk Deitsch of Brooklyn, New York – Jerry Dean Hallman & wife Michelle of Buckeye, Arizona; 1 BROTHER: Wallace Hallman & wife Susan of Drumright; 3 SISTERS: Donna Jean Mercer & husband Jack of Miami – Jean Sparks of Cleveland – Margie McPhail & husband Dennis of Edmond; also NUMEROUS Nieces – Nephews – Other relatives - & friends.
