Amey Lee Compton Silvertooth was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on February 7, 1985 to Kenny Lee Compton and Melissa Jane (Reynolds) Compton. She was called home on January 5, 2020 at the age of 34 years. Amey was raised and educated in Sand Springs and was a 2004 graduate of Sand Springs High School. She married Chris Silvertooth and they made their home in Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenny Compton; three aunts, Bobbie Reynolds, Barbara Farmer, and Ruth Peterson; and one uncle Jim Reynolds.

Her remaining family includes her daughter, Haley Marie Silvertooth of Arkansas; mother, Melissa Compton of Sand Springs; two brothers, Ricky and Kenneth Compton of Prue; two nieces, Kaylyn and Sarah; one nephew, Hunter; aunts and uncles; Lester and Jennifer Reynolds of Sapulpa, Lisa Reynolds of Sapulpa, Donna and Randy Winans of Sand Springs, Judy Reynolds of Sand Springs, Clara and Tommy Huff of Sapulpa, Bonita Green of Sapulpa, Suzie Zook of Oregon, Sandy Haskins of Bristow; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
