Obituary for Floyd Gene Schweigert

Floyd Gene Schweigert was born in Rush City, Minnesota on May 18, 1937 to the late George Schweigert and Mildred (Schiml) Schweigert. He passed from this life in the Drumright Regional Hospital on December 27, 2019 at the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 9 days. Floyd was raised and educated in Minnesota where he spent his early adulthood. In 1978 he moved from Minnesota to Lincoln County where he purchased some acreage and began farming. He enjoyed being on his farm and raised many different kinds of animals. Floyd's main occupation was as a computer technician, and he worked for American Airlines. He married Marcia Ann Engler in 1979, and they remained together until his death. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Schweigert, and a grandson, Kris.

His remaining family includes his wife, Marcia, of the home; daughter, Cheryl Bromwich and husband, Randy, of Cushing; step-children, Michael Sohn of Claremore, Jennifer DeClerk of Florida; grandchildren, Bradley, Austin, Allyson, Sadie, Jaylee; and numerous other relatives and friends.
