Jack Thomas Davis was born in Depew, Oklahoma on June 22, 1932 to the late Amos Roger Davis and Josephine Katie (Bradford) Davis. He passed from this life in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on December 14, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Jack was raised and educated in this area and had lived all of his life here. He married Virgie Mae Gower on August 4, 1951 and they made their home in Bristow. Jack had retired in 2006 as a pumper for Glimp Oil Company in Drumright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife in 1999 and a son, Earl Roger Davis in 2018.

He leaves behind two daughters: Diane Cannon and husband Joe of Broken Arrow, and Katherine Lee Davis of Broken Arrow; Grandchildren: Eric Taylor, Gunar Cannon, Katie Johnson and husband Christian, and Dwayne Davis; great grandchildren: Laci and Taytum Taylor; a brother, R. K. Davis of Clinton; a sister, Leona Boswell of Bristow; also nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends
