Funeral services for Cushing resident, Victor Bickell were held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2019 in the Cushing First Assembly of God with Rev. Jason Pickering officiating, & Rev. Thomas Green assisting. Interment followed in Fairlawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
Victor Wayne Bickell was born in Yale, Oklahoma on November 14, 1944 to the late Chester Everett Bickell & Addaline (Kaiser) Bickell. He passed from this life at his residence on September 11, 2019 at the age of 74 years, 9 months, & 28 days. Victor was raised in Cushing & was a 1963 graduate of Cushing High School. He married Mary Linda Campbell on August 13, 1962 & they raised 5 children. Victor had worked in the oil industry & had worked at the refineries in Cushing, Tulsa, & Stroud. He retired in 2007 from Sunoco. In his church, he served as deacon & in numerous capacities over the years. Victor was a man of great faith in his Lord & Savior. His kind heart and gentle disposition will be greatly missed. In addition to his FATHER, he was preceded in death his MOTHER & Step-Father: Addie & Bill Ravia; SON-In-Law: Bruce McCullough; GRANDSON: Nathanial Bickell; BROTHER: James G. Bickell; & Brother-In-Law: Jim Johnson.
His remaining family includes his loving WIFE: Mary Bickell of the home; CHILDREN: Cindi McCullough of Cushing – Tim Bickell & wife Dana of Mustang – Jon Bickell & wife Rachel of Broken Arrow – James E. Bickell of Tulsa – Joe Bickell & wife Ashley of Cushing; Grandchildren: Dillon – Josh – Katie – Meagan – Kayla – Kirsten – Dawson – Mason – Austin – Kristian – Brinlee – Ava – Olivia - & Khloe; Great Grandchildren: Laikyn – Kade – Crue – Kannon - + 1 on the way; SISTER: Alberta Johnson of Indiana; AUNT: Anna Bickell of Del City; & numerous Nieces – Nephews – Cousins – other relatives & friends.
