Obituary for Christy Ann Rockhold
Graveside funeral rites for Drumright resident, Christy Rockhold, were held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in the Drumright Greenlawn Cemetery. Rev. Charles Durant of the Drumright First United Methodist Church officiated. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home Drumright.
Christy Ann Rockhold was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on August 15, 1956 to the late Billy Ray Rockhold, Sr. & Jacquetta Irene (Cook) Rockhold. She passed from this life suddenly in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 4, 2019 at the age of 62 years, 8 months, & 19 days. Christy was raised & educated in this area & was a 1975 graduate of Drumright High School. She worked all of her life as a self-employed housekeeper and moved back to Drumright from Savana, Georgia 27 years ago. She had a great love for cats but what brought her the most joy was spending time with her family, especially her great niece & nephew. She was preceded in death by her FATHER; her MOTHER: Jacquetta Irene Drew; a SISTER: Janie Rockhold; & a BROTHER: Rocky Rockhold.
