Obituary for Zora Mae Bozworth

Funeral services for Mannford resident, Zora Bozworth, were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 in the Drumright River of Life Christian Church. Pastor Kevin Vogele officiated. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery at Drumright, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.

Zora was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on March 6, 1941 to the late Leonard Smith & Druce (Harrell) Smith. She passed from this life in Tulsa on March 25, 2019 at the age of 78 years, & 19 days. Zora Mae Smith was raised & educated in the Drumright / Olive area. She married Robert Charles Bozworth in Oilton on September 27, 1957 & they raised 2 children. Zora had graduated from the LPN program at Central Vo-Tech & had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Drumright Memorial Hospital for several years. She also had worked as a bookkeeper for her husband in their business, Precision Piping in Sand Springs. She & Robert moved from Drumright to Mannford in the 1990’s where they remained. She was a woman of great faith & was a member of the River of Life Christian Center. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren & her sisters. In addition to her PARENTS, she was preceded in death by her HUSBAND: Robert in 2015; 2 BROTHERS: Lawrence Smith & Lloyd Smith; & 2 SISTERS: Lorretta Kincaid & Fern Baker.

Her remaining family includes her CHILDREN: Kathy Caruthers & husband Mike of Mannford – Robert Bozworth, Jr. & wife Sharron of Drumright; GRANDCHILDREN: Patci & Robert Davenport – Beth & Brandon Richards – Julie & Jessie Williams – Robert Bozworth, III – Mike & Kindra Caruthers – Jodie & Mark Mendoza; GREAT Grandchildren: Brendeyn & Shelby – Mariah – Quinten – Gavin – Brianna – Jayden – Noah – Haylie – Alyssa – Luke – Gunner – Madilynn - & Kaiden; 2 GREAT Great GRANDCHILDREN: Brenley & Sam; 1 BROTHER: Darrell Smith of Oilton; 2 SISTERS: Verba Guinn of Drumright – Barbara Molder of Oilton; & SEVERAL Nieces - Nephews – Cousins - other relatives & friends.
