Obituary for Dr. David Krug

Dr. David S. Krug was born in Great Bend, Kansas on September 9, 1943 to the late Robert Sterling Krug and Edith Odetta (Whitfield) Krug. He passed from this life in Tulsa on March 12, 2019 at the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 3 days. "Doc", as he was known to many, was raised and educated in Guymon, OK. After graduation, he enrolled in Panhandle State University, then completed his medical education at the Kansas City School of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1967. He served his internship in Tulsa and that is when he met the love of his life, Susan Kaye Ogle. They were united in marriage on October 19, 1968. After marriage, they moved to Wellington, Kansas where he set up his first medical practice. They later officed in Enid, then Bristow. After 40+ years in Bristow, he decided to retire, but that didn't last long. He continued his practice at Little Tree Medical Clinic in Drumright, Pipeline Crossroads Clinic in Cushing, was a practicing physician in the Invictus Health Care Group, and was currently the Medical Director for Emerald Hospice. In addition to his medical practice, he was a man of great faith and involved in various and numerous capacities within the Olive First Baptist Church. He also enjoyed working on his farm, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Joan Krug.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Susan Krug of the home; children: Kara and Chris Tweedy of Norman - Katie and Ben Scroggs of Olive; Grandchildren: Anna - Rebecca - Christopher - Jadon - and Ethan; two brothers: Gary Krug and wife Loretta of Lindsey - Bill Krug and wife Anita of Indiana; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Jonathan and Toni Ogle of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
