Funeral services for Olive resident, Susan Ogle, were held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 in the Olive First Baptist Church. Interment followed at 2:00 p.m. in Euchee Valley Memorial Park near Cushing, OK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.

Susan was born at Lawnwood, Oklahoma on April 25, 1922 to the late Albert Lee Sasser & Katie Ellis (Walker) Sasser. She passed from this life on November 10, 2018 at the age of 96 years, 6 months, & 16 days. Susan was raised & educated in Sand Springs & Tulsa. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School, then Bartlesville Junior College. She married Chester Albert Ogle in Tulsa on April 25, 1947 & they made their home in Tulsa. In 1953 they moved to Olive where they remained the rest of their lives. Susan had worked for many years as a deputy court clerk for Creek County. She was a longtime member of the Olive First Baptist Church & served as secretary, Sunday school teacher, 4-H leader, and Quilting Club member. Her faith was strong & unwavering. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, baking, & loved spending time with her grandchildren & family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband.

Her remaining family includes her CHILDREN: Jon & Toni Ogle of Texas – Susan & Dr. David Krug of Drumright; GRANDCHILDREN: Jonathan & Kaylee – Jordan – Joni – Kara & Chris – Katie & Ben; Great GRANDCHILDREN: Anna – Rebecca – Christopher – Jadon – Ethan - & Pearl; also several other relatives & friends.
