A memorial service was held 2pm Friday, July 13, 2018 in the Olive First Baptist Church for former Drumright resident, Teddy Ray Herweck, Sr. Rev. Tyler McDowell officiated. Cremation services were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.

Teddy Ray Herweck was born in Farmington, New Mexico on July 1, 1955 to the late Henry Clay Herweck & Nellie Izora (Campbell) Herweck. He passed from this life in Tulsa on July 9, 2018 at the age of 63 years & 8 days. In 1960 his family moved from Texas to Drumright where he was raised & educated. On May 11, 1976 he married Linda Ernst & they made their home in Ripley for many years. In 1995 they moved from Ripley to Dayton, Tennessee where they remained for several more years. Teddy had worked as an adolescent councilor until his health forced him to retire. He just recently moved back to this area to be closer to his family. Teddy enjoyed playing pool, poker, & fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, and telling all types of stories, no matter how elaborate or exaggerated they were. ,In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his WIFE: Linda in 2014; & 2 SISTERS: Donnie Bernice Herweck & Rosa Bohmfalk.

His remaining family includes his SON: Teddy Ray Herweck, Jr. of Drumright; very close FRIEND: Gene Collier of Cushing; & numerous other relatives. Online condolences may be expressed at www.MichaelsFuneralServices.com.
