Funeral services for Kellyville resident, Marie Cochran, were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Faith Baptist Church in Slick, OK with Rev. Steve Lamberson officiating. Interment followed in Magnolia Memorial Gardens at Bristow, OK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Bristow.

Marie Larncey Cochran was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 26, 1921 to the late Sidney Verne Russell & Clara Ellen (Groves) Russell. She passed from this life in Sapulpa on April 19, 2018 at the age of 97 years, 2 months, & 24 days. Marie was raised & educated in Tulsa & Creek Counties & had lived all of her life in this area. She married Elmer Bradley Cochran in Sapulpa on June 26, 1953 & they remained together until his death in 2008. Marie had retired from the Bristow Garment Factory. She enjoyed playing solitaire, gardening, farming, & sewing. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by 3 SISTERS: Ann – Virgie - & Lois; 1 BROTHER: Jack; & a GRANDSON: Dakota Poggemeyer.

Her remaining family includes a SON: Bradley & Margie Cochran; a DAUGHTER: Kelly & Mervin Poggemeyer, all of Kellyville; GRANDCHILDREN: Jacob – Katelyn – Ronnie & Tammy – Cessaly & Ronnie, Jr.; GREAT Grandchildren: Megan – Serenity - & Jennah; 1 Great GREAT Grandchild: Beau; 1 BROTHER: Tony & Darlene Russell of Grove; SISTER: Kattie Jo Farris of Bristow; also numerous other relatives & friends.
