Funeral services for Clifton Gregory were held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 in the Drumright First Christian Church with Rev. Jim Forrest officiating. Clifton Reverka Gregory was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on January 29, 1951 to Clifton Gregory, Sr. & Lois (Cargill) Gregory. He passed from this life unexpectedly at his residence in Glencoe on January 16, 2017 at the age of 65 years, 11 months, & 18 days. Clifton was raised & educated in Drumright & was a 1969 graduate of Drumright High School. He had lived the majority of his life in Drumright. In the 1970’s & 80’s he worked for the Drumright & Stroud Police Departments. In 1974 he married Jennifer Coleman in Drumright & they raised 2 daughters. They later divorced. Clifton loved sports & coached his daughter’s softball teams when they were growing up. He was also instrumental in establishing the Drumright Athletic Association. In 1999 he retired from Armstrong World Industries in Stillwater. At the time of his death, he was working for Maveric Mini Marts in Glencoe & Drumright. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, & gambling; but his favorite pastime was spending time with his family & friends. Clifton is survived by his MOTHER: Lois Kuphal of Arizona; DAUGHTERS: Tabatha Jenkins & husband Jayson of Drumright – Amanda Gregory of Kellyville; GRANDCHILDREN: Ashlynn Dudley – Garin Dudley – Tristan Gregory – Travoris McFadden – Ceazia McFadden – Chya Gregory – Tobyn Jenkins; BROTHER: Gary Gregory of Arizona; SISTER: Yvonne Isgrig of Missouri; 2 AUNTS: Juanita Johnson of Sapulpa & Opal McBroom of Mannford; & SEVERAL other relatives & friends. Clifton was preceded in death by his father.
