A memorial service for Drumright resident, Eva VanDyke, will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 in the Memorial Chapel of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
Eva VanDyke was born the only child of the late Kenneth Larue Mark & Winifred Lucille (Decker) Mark on June 24, 1946 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. She passed from this life un-expectantly at her residence on June 20, 2016 at the age of 69 years, 11 months, & 27 days. Eva was raised & educated in Mulheim, Pennsylvania. She married Kenneth Robert VanDyke in Virgil, New York on October 20, 1972. In 1980, they moved to Tulsa to attend ordination classes at Rhema Bible Church. Eva attended classes with her husband & also worked as a receptionist for Rhema Bible Training. After graduating in 1985, they moved to Drumright & were associated with Faith Outreach Church in Bristow. At the time of her death, she was attending Lake Church in Mannford. Eva was very active in the Drumright Senior Citizens organization & was a vital member of the Drumright Human Needs Council. Her cheerful and caring disposition will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her HUSBAND: Kenneth VanDyke in 2010.
