Angela Ruth Griffin, resident of Bristow, passed from this life in Tulsa on February 28, 2016 at the age of 82 years, 2 months, & 17 days. Funeral services will be handled through Dorsey-E. Angela Ruth Griffin was born in Okeechobee, Florida on December 11, 1933 to the late Roy Lee White & Annie Lee (Raybun) White. She was raised & educated in West Palm Beach, Florida where she lived the majority of her life. She had worked for the Salvation Army in Florida for many years until her retirement in 2005. She married Neely Allen Griffin in Florida in 1981. After her retirement, she and her husband moved to Bristow where they have remained. Angela enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 9 brothers & sisters.

Her remaining family includes her loving husband: Neely Griffin of Bristow; CHILDREN: Melissa Hinson & husband Bobbie, Jr. of Bristow – Crystal Bledsoe – Cheryl Johnson - & Steve Compton, all of Florida; GRANDCHILDREN: Corey & Tiffany Hinson – Shannon & James Ernest; Great GRANDCHILDREN; Bentley Hinson – Emma Hinson - & Sawyer Ernst, plus several other grandchildren; 1 brother: Glen Rhodes; 4 sisters: Peggy Fort – Brenda Lane – Frances Bloom - & Jackie Lawson, all of Florida; and numerous other relatives and friends.
