Graveside funeral services for Oakhurst resident, Ruth Jones, were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Cushing, OK. Ruth Ann Jones was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 17, 1951 to the late Donald Lee Shockley & Florence M. (McCombs) Shockley. She passed from this life in Sapulpa, OK on November 14, 2015 at the age of 64 years, 4 months, & 21 days. Ruth was raised & educated in west Tulsa & had lived all of her life in the Redfork – Carbiondale – Oakhurst areas. She was an avid Elvis fan & enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, camping, watching OSU sports, game shows, & spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a NEPHEW: Darrell Phillips; & a GREAT Nephew: Alex Phillips.

Her remaining family includes her SON: Danny Jones & wife Tabatha of Sapulpa; GRANDCHILDREN: Danny Jones, Jr. – Kayla Jones – Dusty Jones – Stephen Pool – Billy Staton- Robert Staton; 5 GREAT Grandchildren; a SISTER: Thelma Barber of Cushing; & NUMEROUS NIECES, NEPHEWS, other relatives & frineds.
