Obituary for John E. Pringle

A memorial gathering for Drumright resident, John E. Pringle, will be held 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the McWhorter-Weston VFW Post #1118 in Cushing, OK. John E. Pringle was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on July 13, 1933 to the late John Thomas Pringle & Dorothy (Anderson) Pringle. He passed from this life at his residence on October 2, 2015 at the age of 82 years, 2 months, & 19 days. John had lived in Drumright until age 10 when his family moved to Illinois. He remained in Illinois where he owned & operated a machine shop for many years. He married Ruth Idras Fleener in Champaign, Illinois on June 24, 1969. She brought into the marriage 4 children which he considered were his own. They later moved to Melbourne, Australia where he built replacement engines for antique automobiles. They remained there until his retirement, moving back to Drumright 1996 where they remained the rest of their lives. John enjoyed many things in life including restoring antique automobiles. He was a self-taught & licensed pilot & loved his wife and children very much. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his WIFE in 2008; a SON: Larry Pringle; GRANDDAUGHTER: Tonya Kramer; GREAT GRANDSON: Mitchell Kramer; & a BROTHER & SISTER-IN-LAW: Sam & Ginger Pringle.

His remaining family includes his CHILDREN: Jim Ishcomer of Illinois – Jack Ishcomer of Illinois – Judi Schaefer of Texas – Jeff Ishcomer of Illinois – Jerry Ishcomer of Illinois; 13 Grandchildren – 24 Great Grandchildren; a SISTER: Sally Sullivan of Illinois; NIECES & NEPHEWS: Tammy Pringle – Courtney Reinhard – Jeff Pringle – Ted Pringle – Sean Sullivan – Casey Sullivan; and numerous other relatives.
