Christopher Riley Norton, resident of Cushing, passed from this life in Tulsa on December 18, 2019 at the age of 46 years, 4 months, & 15 days. A memorial service will be held on a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
Christopher Riley Norton was born in Cleveland, Oklahoma on August 3, 1973 to the late Kenneth Norton & Carol (ingles) Norton. Chris was raised & educated in Cleveland. He attended Northeastern State University & receive his degree in the culinary arts. He became a chief & had worked with Gilcrease Museum & the Downtown Doubletree Hotel. He had also worked for Sterling Oil Company of Utah as a pipeliner & was a professional hunt guide while living in New Mexico. He returned to this area in 1998. On August 4, 2001 he married Amy Sherwood & they have remained together until his death.
His remaining family includes his WIFE & 2 DAUGHTERS: Amy Norton – Megan & Nicole, of Cushing;
