Obituary for Audrey Lee Hope
Funeral services for Audrey L. Hope were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Sonny Johnston officiating. Interment followed in Euchee Valley Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
Audrey L. Hope was born in Mehan, Oklahoma on April 17, 1923 to the late Frank Marvin Testerman & Mattie Franklin (Giddeon) Testerman. She passed from this life at her residence on October 2, 2019 at the age of 96 years, 5 months, & 15 days. Audrey was raised & educated in around Mehan & Agra. She married Wilburn Jesse Hope in Cushing on August 9, 1940 & they remained together until his death in 2005. In addition to her parents & husband, she was preceded in death by 6 SISTERS: Gladys – Opal – Vera – Marcene – Margie - & Dorothy; 2 BROTHERS: Sidney & John; Grandchild: Todd Padon; & Great Grandchild: Brently Hope.
Her remaining family includes CHILDREN: Yvonne Harris & husband Jim of Wagoner – John & Rachel Hope of Texas; Grandchildren: Brenda & Rick Coats – Tammy & Kyle Belvin – Angie & Eric Epperson – Patrick Hope – Richard Hope; Several Great Grandchildren – and friends.
