Obituary for Jackie Ann Landis (Carnahan)

Jackie Ann Landis was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on August 14, 1943 to the late Jack George Carnahan & Nadine (Nuttle) Carnahan. She passed from this life in Cushing, Oklahoma on April 12, 2019 at the age of 75 years, 7 months, & 29 days. At a young age, her family moved to Nowata, Oklahoma where she received most of her early education. Then at age 14, the moved to California & remained there for several years. On February 7, 1964 she married Robert Landis & they raised 4 children. While in California, they owned & operated a lighting company. In 1983 the family moved to Drumright & have remained here since. Jackie was an active & devout member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Drumright, the St. Mary Alter Society, and had served on the Drumright Human Needs Council for many years. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles & spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Arthur Landis in 2010; & a sister: Anita.

She leaves behind her CHILDREN: Amy Supulver & husband Randy of Missouri – Quint Landis & wife Debbie of Cushing – Jim Landis & wife Norma of Cushing – Judd Landis & wife Sara of Drumright; Grandchildren: Ely – Mia – Sophia – Sonny – Sigrid - & Scarlet; & numerous other relatives.

Deacon Kenny Longbrake will recite the Rosary on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. & the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Emmanuel Lugard-Nudka on Friday, April 26th at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Drumright.
