Graveside funeral rites for Coweta resident, Carrol Seagle, were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 in the Blackburn Cemetery near Blackburn, OK. Michael Davis of Michael’s Funeral Home officiated. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.

Carrol Elaine Seagle was born in Cleveland, Oklahoma on October 19, 1944 to the late Brady Byford & Iva (Slover) Byford. She passed from this life at her residence on June 13, 2018 at the age of 73 years, 7 months, & 25 days. Carrol was raised & educated in Shamrock, OK. Due to the closing of the Shamrock Schools, she finished her education at Depew High School, graduating in 1962. Carrol was trained in cosmetology7 and throughout her lifetime, had worked at many different places including Miss Elaine’s Garment Factory in Bristow, Whistle Stop in Drumright, & American Airlines in Tulsa, where she met Larry Seagle. They hit it off quickly & their romanced blossomed. Throwing their cares to the wind, they were united in marriage in 1993 & made their home in Coweta. She loved spending time with her family & friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Mother: Iva Campbell; 1 BROTHER: Calvin Byford; 3 SISTERS: Dorothy Keeter – Rachel Clarkson – Joanne Wadley; & a NEPHEW: Jeff Wadley.

Her remaining family includes her HUSBAND: Larry Seagle of Coweta; CHILDREN: Randy Haskins of Drumright – Pam Morris of Drumright – Kim Odom of Broken Arrow – Charles Haskins of Broken Arrow – Angela Seagle Barns of North Carolina; 13 GRANDCHILDREN – 14 GREAT Grandchildren; 1 SISTER: Loretta June Pitts of Stillwater; & several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & friends.
