A memorial gathering was held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Bartley Family Home in Olive for Wyatt Bartley. Rev. George Brock III & Rev. Tyler McDowell shared words of encouragement with those attending. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.

Wyatt Kirby Bartley was born in Yale, Oklahoma on September 19, 1957 to the late Kirby Boyd Bartley & Dorothy Marie (Peacock) Bartley. He passed from this life at his residence in Olive on April 9, 2018 at the age of 60 years, 6 months, & 21 days. Wyatt was raised & educated in Olive & was a 1975 graduate of Olive High School. Except for a short time in Mannford, he had lived all his life in the Olive / Drumright area. Wyatt had worked as a heavy equipment operator & ran backhoes, dozers, & road graders. He retired from Matrix in 2015. Wyatt loved to ride horses & rope. He enjoyed going to auctions, garage sales, junking, & collecting toy tractors. He also had antique Allis Chalmers tractors he would ride in local parades. However, his favorite pastime was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Jodi.

His remaining family includes his WIFE: Paula Bartley of the home; CHILDREN: Judd & Heather Bartley of Glenpool – Jinger Bartley of Sapulpa – Jessica Bartley of Drumright; STEP CHILDREN: Carrie & Sam Cooper – Stephen Henson – Jody Taylor, all of Bristow; GRANDCHILDREN: Cade Potter – Braelyn Bartley – Madison Sutter – Cooper Wyatt Bartley – Kaytlyn & Zach Holderfield – Ryan Rector – Jeff Rector – Dalton Matherly – Justin & Destiny May – Josh & Brooke Henson – Jaycee Henson – James Faulk; GREAT Grandchildren: Teagan Holderfield - Tinlee Holderfield – Bristol May – Jay May – Abby Henson - Levi Lewis; 1 BROTHER: Frank Dale Bartley of Shamrock; 2 SISTERS: Wanda Faye Bolstad of Catoosa – Virginia Darlene Dillard of Sapulpa; also numerous other relatives & friends.
