Obituary for Susan Beth Wilson - Miller

Susan Beth (Wilson) Miller was born on December 4, 1966 in Cushing, OK to Mike Wilson and Bonnie (Breeden) Wilson. After a 6 year battle with cancer & at the age of 51 years, 3 months, and 5 days, Susan passed from this life and stepped over into heaven on March 9, 2018 in Muskogee, OK with husband Scott; her mother Bonnie; brother Joe; and sister Mikka, by her side.
Susan received her education in Cushing and Muskogee. She loved playing sports and excelled well in softball, basketball and track. She worked as a secretary and dispatcher for the trucking industry for many years and loved being outdoors; caring for her flower garden by day and sitting by the bonfire in the evening, and gathering with family and friends. Susan met her soul mate and the love of her life, Scott Miller, 10 years ago and they were united in marriage on July 23, 2016.
She is survived by her husband: Scott Miller of the home; mother: Bonnie Wilson of Cushing (formally of Muskogee); father: Mike Wilson of Cushing; 2 daughters: Brandi Van Gerwen and husband Nick of Mt Pleasant, TX - Brittney Sinclair and partner Matt Possett of Muskogee; 2 grandsons: Derek Hake and John Possett; 2 stepdaughters: Crystal Miller of Muskogee - Tani Shern and husband of Owasso; 4 step grandchildren: Austin and Brooke Kuykendall - Ashley and Kiersten Shern; 1 brother: Joe Wilson and wife Jeanette of Terlton; 1 sister: Mikka Henry and husband Mike and 1 nephew Hunter Henry all of Prairie Grove, AR; 3 stepsisters: Terri O’Bryant and husband Rick of Cushing - Jana Thompson and husband Randy of Cushing - Tania Runnels and husband Greg of Modesto CA; 2 step nieces, 4 step nephews, and numerous cousins and other relatives.
Those preceding her in death are her beloved grandparents: Theron & Vinita Breeden – Roy & Dorothy Wilson; step dad: Bill Wilson; 2 aunts: Wilma Partridge Linn – Jean Gelbhar; 5 uncles: Bobby – Jackie – Bill – Jimmy Breeden - & Mike Gelbhar.
Susan will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister. Rest in peace our beautiful angel. We love you.
A memorial service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held in the Memorial Chapel of Michael’s Funeral Home in Drumright, OK on Saturday March 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Randy Shaddox officiating.
