Connie DeLaTorre, resident of Drumright, passed from this life on February 9, 2018 at the age of 84 years, 11 months, & 16 days. A rosary service lead by Deacon Kenny Longbrake will be held at 6:30 pm Friday, February 16th. Rev. Emmanuel Nduka will celebrate the Funeral Mass at 1 pm Saturday, February 17th. Both services will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Cushing, OK. Services were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.

Concepcion “Connie” DeLaTorre was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 24, 1933 to the late Solomon Cruz & Natividad (Gonzalez) Cruz. Connie was raised & educated in Tulsa. She married Lorenzo DeLaTorre in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1968. They made their home in California for many years where Connie had worked as a claims adjuster for the State of California until her retirement. They moved to Drumright from Fontana, CA in 1995. Connie was very active in the Cushing Parish of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church & also the St. Mary Catholic Church of Drumright. In 2014 she was selected as the Alter Societies “Women of the Year”. She dearly loved her church parish & family very much. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 BROTHERS: Melecio & Victor; 3 NIECES: Teresa – Christina – Shelley.

Her remaining family includes her loving husband of 50 years: Lorenzo DeLaTorre of the home; CHILDREN: Elizabeth – Tony – Teresa – Larry; GRANDCHILDREN: Joshua – Tommy – Wendy – Laurena – Larry – John & Natalie; Great GRANDCHILDREN: Addison – Amellia – Charlie – Avery – Emillian – Magnus; BROTHERS & SISTERS: Lala – Daniel – Zoila – Rodrigo; also numerous Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & friends.
