Memorial services for Drumright resident, David Roberts, were held 2 pm Monday, January 15, 2018 in the Olive First Baptist Church with Rev. George Brock, III officiating. Services were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
David Roberts was born in Kansas City, Kansas on March 7, 1964 to Irvin Allan Roberts & Helen P. (Hudson) Roberts. He passed from this life suddenly in the Drumright Regional Hospital on January 11, 2018 at the age of 53 years, 10 months, & 4 days. David was raised & educated in Olive, Oklahoma & attended the Olive schools. He had lived the majority of his life in the Olive / Drumright / Cushing areas & had worked in the oil fields. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends. His ornery & joking personality will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his FATHER & STEP MOTHER: Allan & Saundra Roberts; GRANDPARENTS: Emmitt & Pauline Hudson – Flora Ann Monk – Herbert & Mariam Roberts; SISTER: Phyllis White; & BROTHER: Trenton Roberts.
His remaining family includes his MOTHER: Helen Tanner of Prattville; CHILDREN: Blake Roberts & wife Jacalyn of Cushing – Brittany Foster of Drumright; GRANDCHILDREN: Hunter – Gabe – Julian – Dominick - & Embri; his GIRLFRIEND: Johnnie Sue Rowland of Drumright; BROTHERS: Troy Roberts of Missouri – Allan & Krissy Roberts of Missouri – Bob Agnew of Bristow; SISTERS: Bea Newell of Tulsa – Dana Sheldon of Prattville – Tiffany Rich of Drumright; & Numerous NIECES, NEPHEWS, other relatives & friends.
