Funeral services for Drumright resident, Edgar E. Vice, Jr., were held 2 pm Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the Drumright First Baptist Church with Pastor Cody Wells officiating. Interment followed in the Drumright Oak Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.

Edgar Ellis Vice, Jr., also known as Junior, was born in Grove, Oklahoma on October 13, 1938 to the late Edgar Ellis Vice, Sr. & Georgia Carolina (Coale) Vice. He passed from this life suddenly at his residence on January 7, 2018 at the age of 79 years, 2 months, & 25 days. In 1944, at the age of six, his family moved to Drumright. He was raised & educated in Drumright & was a 1957 graduate of Drumright High School. While in school, he met the love of his life, Margaret Sue Lokey, & they began a 58+ year love affair. They were united in marriage on April 10 1959 & made Drumright their home. Junior had worked & retired from Drumright Well Service. He then worked as a truck driver which took him all over the United States. Junior was a kind, fun loving man. His cheerful personality & disposition made him a friend to all who know him. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving WIFE & SWEETHEART: Margaret Sue Vice on December 30, 2017; BROTHER & Sister-In-Law: George & Shirley Vice; & a NEPHEW: Brian Hicks.

His remaining family includes 2 SONS: David Vice of Drumright – Gary Vice of Tulsa; GRANDCHILDREN: Clint Vice – Kenneth Vice – Kyle Vice; GREAT Grandchildren: Conner Vice – Mercedes Vice – Quorbin Wagoner – Dalton Vice; 2 SISTERS: Susie Hicks of Broken Arrow – Patsy Tronnier of Bartlesville; Numerous NIECES, NEPHEWS, other relatives & loving friends.
