Leota Darrelene Peck was born in Oilton, Oklahoma on September 13, 1938 to the late Darrel Tunnell & Marjorie (Patrick) Tunnell. She passed from this life in Blackwell, Oklahoma on December 11, 2017 at the age of 79 years, 2 months, & 28 days. Darrelene spent her early childhood in Texas & California. After WW II, they returned to Oilton where she was raised & educated. She loved to play basketball & took up playing the piano. Even though she was never formally taught, nor could she read music; she learned to play by ear and became quite accomplished. In 1955 she married her high school sweetheart, Paul Peck, & had 2 children: Kevin & Kim. They made Oilton their home for many years while Paul ran the family business, Peck Funeral Home. Darrelene was a generous & giving person. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom and loved taking care of her family, playing the piano at church, and trips to Branson, Missouri. Later in life she enjoyed her grandchildren, country music concerts, shopping trips, movies, and as always, dinner. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her HUSBAND: Paul Peck in 2009; a SON: Kevin Peck; GRANDCHILDREN: Adam Peck – Riley Peck – Andria (Meadors) Allen & Matthew Meadors.
