Funeral services for Okemah resident Faye Louise McGee were held at Davenport First Baptist Church in Davenport, OK on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mike Mitchell officiating. Serving as casket bearers were Michael McGee, Connor McGee, David Wolfe, Trent Wolfe, Blake Wolfe, Nathaniel Beverlin and serving as honorary casket bearer was Adam Dallas. Interment took place at the Davenport Cemetery.

Services were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Bristow, OK.

Faye Louise McGee was born in Davenport, OK on July 15, 1933 to the late Roy Lee Murray and Grace Lamoyne (Baker) Murray. She passed from this life at her residence in Okemah, OK on October 18, 2016 at the age of 83 years, 3 months & 3 days. Faye was raised and educated in Davenport and Milfay. At the age of 19 she was united in marriage with Max Warren McGee in Davenport, OK on June 13, 1953. They had lived in several places throughout their married life and eventually returned to Oklahoma where they have remained the past several years. Faye was a homemaker and her hobbies included cooking, sewing, crafts, and yes even fishing. Most of all she cherished her family. In addition to both parents, Faye was preceded in death by 1GRANDDAUGHTER: Christina Faye Easter; 2 BROTHERS: Donald Lee Murray & Richard Deane Murray; and 1 SISTER: Marcella Jeanette Hixon.

Those left to mourn her passing include HER HUSBAND: Max McGee, Sr of the home; 4 CHILDREN: Max McGee, Jr and spouse Coleen Magnus – Teresa Gayle Easter and spouse Mike Ramage – Sondra Kaye Jones and spouse Brian Storozyszyn - & Tammy Renea Dallas and spouse Ted Walter; GRANDCHILDREN: David and Chasitie Wolfe – Michael and Annette McGee – Felicia and Matt Yocham – Natalie and Tim Moore – Dawn and Robin Rose - Gene Easter – Michael Shane Beverlin – Ashley Nicole Dallas - & Adam Wray Dallas; 18 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN & 1 GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILD on the way; 2 BROTHERS: Ronald Leon Murray & David Gene Murray; and 2 SISTERS: Billie Bowman & Judy Anderson. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
