Graveside funeral services for former Drumright resident, Lonnie Daryl Creekmore, were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Shamrock Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright.
Lonnie Daryl Creekmore was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on February 5, 1951 to the late Lonnie Creekmore & Veda (Selph) Creekmore. He passed from this life in Mannford on June 20, 2016 at the age of 65 years, 4months, & 15 days. Due to Lonnie’s parents moving from town to town & state to state working, he was raised & educated all over the United States. He finally ended up in Alaska where he lived for 20+ years & had worked in construction. He spent some time in California with family before coming to Drumright in 2010. He was an avid Elvis fan, & loved to play dominoes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son: Steven; & a sister: Connie Castro.
His remaining family includes his CHILDREN; Cynthia Creekmore of California – Lori Creekmore of Texas – Lisa Creekmore of Tennessee – Lonnia Hunziker of Drumright – Lance Creekmore - Devon Creekmore, both of Alaska; GRANDCHILDREN: Patricia – Phlora – Devon – Samuel – Christofer – Maximus – Jennifer – Ciera – Steven – Justyn – Haley – Makayla – Trisha – Ryleigh; 2 SISTERS: Brenda Rusco of Drumright – Linda Gorcey of California; former wife: Billie Jean James; and numerous other relatives.
