Memorial services for Jerry Don Ellis were held at New Beginnings Baptist Church on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm.

Jerry Don Ellis was born in Ringling, OK on September 22, 1956 to the late George S. Carter and Elsie (McQuillen) Carter. He passed from this life suddenly at his residence in Kellyville, OK on April 3, 2016 at the age of 59 years, 6 months, & 11 days. He was raised and educated in Bristow, OK and as as a young man, had live in Alaska for approximately five to ten years. He returned to the Creek County area prior to starting a family and had remained here ever since. Jerry Don Ellis and Iona Marcee George were united in marriage on March 26, 1984 in Fort Smith, AR. He was self-employed and had built a thriving and respectable business as an auto mechanic. The upmost important thing to Jerry was his family. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
