Memorial services for Jerry Don Ellis were held at New Beginnings Baptist Church on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm.

Jerry Don Ellis was born in Ringling, OK on September 22, 1956 to the late George S. Carter and Elsie (McQuillen) Carter. He passed from this life suddenly at his residence in Kellyville, OK on April 3, 2016 at the age of 59 years, 6 months, & 11 days. He was raised and educated in Bristow, OK and as as a young man, had live in Alaska for approximately five to ten years. He returned to the Creek County area prior to starting a family and had remained here ever since. Jerry Don Ellis and Iona Marcee George were united in marriage on March 26, 1984 in Fort Smith, AR. He was self-employed and had built a thriving and respectable business as an auto mechanic. The upmost important thing to Jerry was his family. Those left to mourn his passing include HIS WIFE: Marcee Ellis of the Home; 1 SON: Gary Ellis and fiancé Angie Erwin of Kellyville, OK; 3 DAUGHTERS: Melissa Montezuma and husband Brandon of Kellyville, OK – Rachel Horton and husband Trey of Kellyville, OK – Jessica Ellis and Fiancé Mike Ellison of Sand Springs, OK; 6 GRANDCHILD: Adin & Corey Ellis – Bryce & Tallen Montezuma – Stormie & Lillyann Horton; 2 BROTHERS: Wayne Ellis and wife Judy of McAlister, OK – Ray Carter and wife Barbara of California; 4 SISTERS: Claudine McClendon and husband Pat of Bristow, OK – Ethel Reeves of Broken Arrow, OK – Wanda Fuller and husband Roy of New Mexico – Glenda Carter of Kellyville, OK. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
